#322. Feria de la Cerveza de Cullera

Last weekend we went to a German beer festival in Cullera. Many tasty beers were had by all and many sausages were eaten by people other than me. Apart from the food and drink (and the wenches) it was about as un-German as could be. The band were playing only Spanish music and the entire town's ancianos came out to line dance and paso doble.
We also exhausted ourselves in the heat to walk up the hill to the castle before plunging ourselves in the warm Med. As a resort town, the beach was full of holiday goers. It seemed to be more of a resort for locals, so there weren't many red-faced chip-eating English about.
A grand wee holiday indeed. Some photos.
