#295. yo diggity

Yowza. dartmaps was digged yesterday.
After Cliph posted it, it was fun to watch the trickle of hits turn to a torrent (600+ a minute) as it hit the front page. After some apache fiddling my box miracously survived, but we eventually moved it to a zippier server.
(What's also fun is blindfolded collaborative web-development: blindly hacking a site (anal office proxy) with IRC peoples having to confirm the changes.)
Anyway, despite a DNS boo-boo (the perils of editting DNS through a web interface using a text browser) and Irish Rail's site falling over in the middle of it all, it reached nearly 700 diggs at last count.
Super.

Was reading digg, saw the article title and initially thought someone ripped off your script. Nice one.
