#280. yearnings

I must have learned something in college after all. This may be a bad thing. I suspect if I hadn't sat through all those Software Engineering lectures, I mightn't get so pissed off with the build-and-fix "development cycle" we're using at the moment. Oh how I hanker after some requirements. I yearn for some specifications. Do you ever yearn? There's some truth in those dusty bibles written by bearded men.

If that doesn't turn you off, it's actually not a bad old joint and we're hiring.

I took the little nephew chap to see The Robots (Warning: Flash), an exhibition currently running in the The Ark in Temple Bar. It's well worth seeing if you have a small person to accompany you; you'd probably feel out of place without one as the tour dude uses tiny nano-words and skips on the details. But do do the tour, it makes the most out of the exhibition, which is otherwise small and expensive and seems to have a battery shortage problem. Bender gets a mention, but sadly No-no doesn't.

J&M(&A), thanks for a kicking party and sorry for drinking your guano stuff (yum!).

do you get any holiday discounts in work?

We can get 10% off hostels, and occasionally a hotel somewhere will give us some free nights, but that's about it.

Are you interested?
