#211. Somebody stole my stick.

Last Saturday night's anti-war gig was really excellent. Apart from the great line-up (the sweaty one rocks!), the between-act speakers were mostly informative, interesting and important.

The €12 I spent on a flag was more to help the cause than any particular desire to be abused on the streets of Dublin that night. The mere glimpse of such a gaily coloured thing caused a wide range of reactions: the English kebabee attempting a provocation by claiming Bush has already been and gone; the homophobic young pup on O'Connell Bridge who told me to go back to Sweden or 'Faggotland'; the pissed kleptomaniac who actually broke into the emergency exit (entrance?) on the Nightlink in order to steal it (he got away with the stick).

The onslaught of 20,000+ pacifists on Friday Night Dublin will prove equally interesting.

I'm off to ring the American Embassy.

(Holes picked in my German are welcome, everyone.)

Haven't listened to it, and at €55 I'm not sure if I ever will.

Your German looked good to me. Although I could probably pick holes in your 'bollocks'.
