#193. I Heart Mickey Joe

One of the most depressing 'highlights' of Christmas TV this year must have been RTÉ's Review of the Year programme. The format of the show was a compilation of Ireland's top 10 best and top 10 worst moments of 2003.

Not only did the 10 worst items present plenty of examples of why this country blows, but the 10 so-called best moments simply compounded this fact. If this is the best that 12 months in this country has to offer, then I'd rather be under a pile of bricks.

I reckon you got all you deserved for actually watching the thing in the first place. What were you thinking!?

I liked the old woman's suggestion that Bertie should get to sit on the spike.

i reckon it was worth it just for the "I can see Cleary's now the crane has gone" quote when they were talking about the spike being finished.
