#160. sweetness

Well, my festive season was nice and relaxed. A couple of weeks of not-a-lot, except sleeping in late, watching crap telly late and gratuitous eating interspersed with copious amounts of beer and wine.

Kudos to those more culinarily minded than myself who provided me with a fair few extra pounds than I started with. Honorable mentions for Christmas Day's gravy and sweet potatoes and New Year's Eve's chilli.

The vast majority of my drinking was couch-based; either my own little leather number, Jenn's sofa or Ste's pringle-encrusted beer thrones. In fact, the last time I was in any public drinking establishment (a remarkable 11 days ago) was in the bosom of a very comfortable settee in Molloy's of Christchurch for an enjoyable gig made possible by my big sis and her werewolvine friends.

And, even more disturbingly, I have not logged on in just as long. And, now, when I do, matrix appears to be dead (and there's nothing I can do about it - so stop texting). So while I can catch up on the usual livejournals, news sites and what not, I'm left shuddering at the thought of what's happening to my various inboxes.

I wonder if there's one in there from my project supervisor. Before Christmas he asked me for a progress report for the first term, and I didn't have a lot to say. If he asks again, I can send him the first draft of my requirements document for the project, which amounts to about 3,000 words. Not bad for 2 days work, and well worth it, as it actually made me sit down and work out the specs for the whole project. Now all that's needed is the actual coding :).
