And so starts the college machine for another year. This time is slightly different, seeing as it's the big scary final year, which involves actually going to lectures and that. Haven't been to many yet, seeing as the ones I'm interested in haven't happened yet. All the same, I'm still not sure what options to do. My one certainy was "Computer & Internet Security", which has thankfully been cancelled this year and this year only. Thanks you guys. So, it's a toss up between E-commerce (feh), Graphics (feh) and Mobile Comms (feh). I'm seriously considering doing the ones that don't require me to be up at some upgodly hour of the morning. I mean, today for example, lectures from 9-11am (AM!) and that's it for the day. You cannot seriously believe that I'll be able to do that all day. I have to get up earlier for college than for work, what's all that about!? And worse still (for the first term at least) you have to actually go to some lectures to get lecture notes. This is as opposed to printing them out from the course website a week before the exams. I'm aiming for an overall first this year, and I know I'm well able for it, except of course if you ask me to get up in the morings.
Couple of house(room)-warmings happening in the near future. Probably the last year I'll know people living on campus, so must avail of handy rooms for cheap drinking and abuse-throwing, specially as I'm still weening myself back into family house living, where it's not so easy to have some people over for a few drinks, or whatever.
Said flatheatings will be mid-week thankfully. Weekend socialising are the realm of rich working types, or those who enjoy the crowds, queues, admission fees and overpriced everthing. I much prefer to go out during the week, when you can enjoy the company and night, as opposed to getting subjected to some of the nastier sides of Dublin Saturday nights. For example, last Saturday night, I enjoyed a chilled night after a hectic week of ligging. Of course, other people had other plans, which is fine, if a little depressing, seeing as I'm one of the last undergraduates left in the whole world, seemingly.
