#150. Worse Colm

I passed my repeat exam, and as usual did better than expected. I was semi-worried about failing, but managed a 2.1. I seem to do this every year, except of course next year which is the mythical 4th and final year. I start next week, and according to the timetable, I start early. 2 maybe 3 nine o'clock starts ain't gonna be pretty, but at least I have a breather on Friday mornings, which usually follows Thursday Evenings (of which today is one).

Freshers' week in college has, so far, been beer-riddled, as you might expect. Some, but not all, has been free, thanks to various societies that I've long forgotten the name of. I do remember one of them wining and dining me with copious amounts of free wine and, er, dine (platters of cocktail sausages to be exact).

But life isn't all about free drink. Last night, for example, I had to lend my ear to "The Clap" (aka Ste and Karl punishing a pair of guitars). I can't say it was all bad, having a certain amount of entertainment value, and an even worse version of Bad Colm than MTM's (if this was possible), to which I couldn't even sing along to, as someone's timing was just ever so slightly off. Still, it made me laugh for 10 minutes, which can't be a bad thing.
