#77. Horizons

For a 6 week period spanning over September and October, there was a sequence events such as finishing work, studying, doing exams, back to work, waiting for results, getting results, starting back and settling in. Because I didn't actually know what I was doing for more than a couple of days in advance, the weeks flew past. Or, more accurately, I stumbled through them. I wasn't in the slightest bit confident about getting back into college and because of delays in exams, etc, I seemed to be drifting from one place to another, not really being able to concentrate on one single thing for too long without something else requiring my attention.
Now, everything seems to be settling. There's nothing on the horizon for me to be worrying about, and there are wide plains of time for me to folly away. I've paid back my bank loan, and college seems to be easy enough this year. I'm looking forward to being able to give more of my time to bits and pieces. And coupled with my unofficial[1] resolution to cut down on drinking, I'll be free to attempt to achieve some personal goals as well as doing new stuff, although I'm not exactly sure what that will entail.
[1] As in, I haven't been out in a couple of days.
