I want one of these. My MP3 collection is growing larger by about 2GB a week thanks to access to a fast connection, a CD burner and Audiogalaxy. I'll probably have access to above in college for the next year - first thing I'm going to do as 'amenity officer' in netsoc is too buy a CD burner - so a MP3-CD player sounds like a good investment. Can play normal CDs too and is cheaper than regular MP3 player or getting my minidisk fixed.

Apparantly, I'm going to Glasgow in September. Flights booked and everything about 5 minutes after hroosky rang. He gets these hair-brained ideas sometimes, but it's rare that they actually pay off - in fact I've been told to remember the number "mc29ca" for some reason. Still not sure if it's a good idea - haven't heard great things about Glasgow - but hey it'll get me out of the country which is all part of my summer roadmap. Coincidentally, we also booked Leeds today. Festival tickets + flights and all are booked. I've got a number for that too: c84lca. Amn't I a jetsetter. Er, and I had to tell Butch not to book flights for London to see Depeche Mode. I mean, 3 bookings in 1 day, would be a bit krazy. I'd never remember all those numbers...

It looks like it's going to be the eyebrow that gets punctured next. I must say, the public has great taste, as that's what I voted for too! Bleh, will go in to town on Saturday to do it. I'll ask Ste what he thinks, seeing as he'll sort of be like an official colleague of mine tomorrow thanks to my l33t underappreciated employment skills.

I'll leave you with a quote from "Love Letter" by Nick Cave:

Rain your kisses down upon me
Rain your kisses down in storms
And for all who'll come before me
In your slowly fading forms
I'm going out of my mind
Will leave me standing in
The rain with a letter and a prayer
Whispered on the wind
