#22. Dead Pig in the Water Tank

I'm always wary when walking under the railway arches in Trinity. Pigeons perch themselves on the beams above and tend to crap a lot. But I've noticed that they only shit in certain places. Everyday, I avoid these poo-patches by following a path around them, controlled by the absense of faeces on the ground in front of me.

I do this everyday. I find myself slipping into a routine. Not just the pigeons, but the whole morning cycle. Get off dart... Walk 5 minutes to bus stop... Watch 16A go past as I wait to cross the road... Stand at the middle of 3 possible bus stops... Watch as every other bus goes past... 50,77,77,65c... Get on 16C... 54A (faster route) goes past...

I try and spice things up a bit every morning. That's why I get off at Pearse and enjoy a relaxing walk through college before joining the hubhub again. I try and stagger my walking speed, just so I don't get the same bus every day. Mostly I don't eat breakfast, although for a change I will purchase some snackeries sometimes. Again, varying the shop I go to. I must be more imaginative...

These boots are giving out again. Bits of metal sticking into my feet. They're falling apart... I thought New Rock were 'sposed to be resilient and stuff.

So I get off the bus and there's one road left to cross. It's really busy so I have to use the lights. And it's ever only me at the lights. So when all the cars stop it's only me crossing. I feel kinda embarrased that they're all stopping just for me. I can't explain it.
