o2sms v2 - Installation

Ensure the following PERL modules are installed on your system (particularly the SSL ones, as these usually aren't distributed with a default installation).

• LWP
• IO::Socket::SSL
• Net::SSLeay
• Crypt::SSLeay
• HTML::Parser
• URI
• Lingua::EN::Squeeze (for squeezing, optional)

On UNIX type systems I'd recommend using CPAN to install the modules.

1. Download the script from the o2sms homepage.
2. Rename the o2sms.txt file to o2sms.pl or simply o2sms.
3. Vodafone users should rename to vodasms.pl or vodasms; Meteor to meteorsms.pl or meteorsms.
4. You'll probably want to make the script executable -- chmod a+x o2sms.
5. Run the script with a command like perl o2sms or just ./o2sms.
6. Refer to usage for more help.

• Remember to change the first line of the script to reflect your location of PERL.
• Rather than rename or copy, you can also symlink the script to o2sms, vodasms or meteorsms to select your provider.
• Windows users should take a look at installing ActivePerl.
